These analytical results were
developed from size gradation analyses performed on daily samples
collected from the cover material being installed over the upper
geomembrane fabric at the Cresson Phase 1 Heap Leach Pad. I
directed CC&VG to complete these analyses at a frequency greater
than specified in the specs (1 per 20,000 cubic yards). They have
been averaging approximately 1 analysis per 8,000 cubic yards. All
of these analyses appear to be in compliance with the amended
specification for the drain cover material, with the exception of
one slightly high fine fraction in one sample.
In my opinion it would now be appropriate
daily analytical standard and return to th
cubic yards of drain cover material.
cc: Mike Long
Bruce Humphries
Doc: M:\MIN\JAP\CRESSON\DRNCOVER.WPS
to relax the temporary
e 1 analysis per 20,000
JP/]P
