A program called QuickView will he copied m the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD [he first time. hu[ure use of [his or other imaging CD's dons no[ require a new installadon of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or bVb. 3, The CD will contain fibs with the .tif extension. Them needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on yow computer that will Itandle single and multi-page ducuntents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can 6e downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. Aker downloading "IrfanV iew", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG dons nos suppor or endorse this software and the Licensing and registration era the usei s responsibility. There arc many other ptrogtants that work as well, such as "imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". instructions• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Ejoct dze CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert dte CD into the computer. 3. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which nuts the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD.
