With the exception of the Moore Pit (M-88-045) each pit is
eligible for intermittent operation status. In order for us to proceed with
the revision request, we will need a description of each site. This
description should be sufficiently thorough so that it is clear that each site
is in compliance with the approved plans, and to determine that off-site areas
are protected from damage.
The Moore Pit (M-88-045) is ineligible for Temporary Cessation status as it is
a special operations (111) permit. Special Operations sites are permitted
through an expedited process for the purposed of fulfilling a specific
contract. When the contract is satisfied, the site must either be reclaimed
or converted to a 110 or 112 permit.
Please contact me if you have questions or comments.
Sincerely,
---
Steven G.
