Computer requirements to use the DMG document imaging CD (or DVb): l . A program called QuickView will be copied [o [he CD and must be installed on your computer in order m use a DMG imaging CD the first tithe. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of [he software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read s CD or AVD. 3. The CD wilt contain files with the .Cif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .Cif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a W indnws XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and l=ax Viewer" nr "Paint" and they do not work with QtrickView. T'he imaging Viewer that comes with pre•Windows XP Computers does work. DMG bah determined that a program called "IrfanViev%', which can be downloaded from [rfanV iew.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanVicw", it needs W be configured as you[ default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There arc many other programs that work as well, such as •'lmaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows'. Instructions: ~1 insert the CD iota your computer. J 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3, F,.jec[ the CD from the computer. 4. Reinscit the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NO'i'13: A program called QuickView Automn, which tuns the QuickView i setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Automn program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. Instructions for manually insta0ing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can he viewed a[ www.mininestate.co.us. The Permit File document ima>yes can be viewed in the reception area of the DMG office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of making Me CD. DMG cannot provide computer related sunoort.
