Long <br />Division Director <br />This letter serves as notice that Basin Resources, Inc. has been placed on the agenda of the <br />December 15-16, 1993 Board Meeting of the Colorado Mined Land Rechunation Board, to show <br />cause during a Formal Public Hearing why its permits for the Golden Eagle and New Elk Mines <br />should not be revoked. <br />This public hearing is being held following a determination by the Division that a Pattern of <br />Violations, as described in Section 5.03.3(2) of the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />RechLmaiion Board for Coal Mining, has existed at both the Golden Eagle and New Elk Mines <br />over the last 12 months. <br />Should you have any questions, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />Y Daniel I.
