Computer requirements to o~ the DBMS document tmagiag CD (or DVD): 1. A progratu celled l'2uickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order ro use a DAMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purcliax tt be in the :drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension There needs to be an image vieaiag application for .tif Sles m your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing pmgrem4 are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pro-Windows XP computers does work. DAMS has dMe+~++red that a program called "IrfenView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", ft needs ro be configured as your defauh .tif viewer. DAMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as `.Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Listrnctlons• L. Insert the CD inro your computer. 7,. Allow time for the CD ro install ~!. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorua, w)tich rues the QuickView setup program, has also hem copied ro ibis CD. If the Autonm program does NOT work, you wi71 need ro mamlally install the QuickView program Iostmctiams for manually installing QlrickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.state.co.us. The Permit FDe docameot images can be viewed In the reception area of the DRM3 office or they can be porchased oa a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost rnvers the time and labor of making the CD. DAMS cannot provide comonter related soooort.
