In Area 1, portions of the area <br />have been rough graded (spoil peaks topped). In both areas, <br />the existing stockpiled overburden material is needed to <br />reclaim the final nit areas and no finished gradino will be <br />accomplished until the final pits have been completely <br />mined. Conseouenily, since no areas were completely graded, <br />no cross sections comparing graded topography versus <br />proposed postmining topography were developed. <br />The enclosed map shows the lands that were graced prior to <br />1987 in the areas Peabody has been actively mining. <br />Please contact me if you have any questions or require <br />additional information. <br />SincP~rely,/ <br />Ronald J.
