O'Connor, Reclamation Specialist <br />Dear Mr. O'Connor: <br />In regard to Henderson Development, your file No. 80-110, <br />please review the attached revised extraction and reclamation <br />plans for your approval. The changes in these two plans are <br />as follows: <br />1.) Reclamation Plan - Deletion of Island. <br />2.) Excavation Plan - No mining within 125' of Nome <br />Street, plus changing the phases as follows: <br />a. Phase 1 - Remains the same, except no mining <br />within 125'. Presently Phase 1 has been mined <br />and is being utilized for overburden and stock- <br />pile storage. <br />b. Phase 5 - Becomes Phase 3 and remains the location <br />of the crusher, stockpiles and related equipment. <br />c. Phase 2,3,4 - changed to Phase 2A and 2B. Phase <br />2A consists of mining the top 35' of aggregate from <br />south to north, and Phase 2B consists of mining <br />below the top 35' to bedrock (approximately 70'). <br />d. The unmined 125' will be utilized, however, for <br />stockpile storage and thus will have to be revege- <br />tated. <br />In terms of progress to date, I've broken down as <br />follows using the new phases: <br /> Acres % Mined % Rehabilitated <br /> or & Revegetated <br /> Disturbed <br />Phase I 2.5 100% -0- <br />Surface Acreage - Phase 2A 28.0 50% -0- <br />28 Total Phase 2B 28.0 -0- -0- <br />Unmined 5.5 100% -0- <br />Total Acreage 36 acres <br />1 <br />
