Dan Mathews will replace Mike Boulay as the primary contact for the Seneca II-W Mine. <br />Please direct all future correspondence and permitting requests to Dan. Danis in the Grand Junction <br />office; his telephone number is 970-242-5025. His address is Division of Minerals and Geology, Dan <br />Mathews, 101 South 3`d, Suite 301, Grand Junction, CO 81501. Mike will continue working with Dan as <br />necessary to ensure a smooth transition <br />The Division has initiated a significant change in the way that permitting documents, reports, and <br />related correspondence is handled. All documents received or issued by the Division aze now <br />electronically imaged and digitally filed. In the Coal Program, a "hazd copy" of the permit application <br />package for each operation is maintained by individual environmental protection specialists, but the <br />electronic permit package and file will be the primary file available for use by operators and the general <br />public, as well as DMG staff <br />All document imaging is done at the Denver office. Cattany <br />Acting Division Director <br />For revision applications, bond release applications, permit transfer applications and similaz <br />applications or requests, please submit two sets to Dan, at the Grand Junction DMG office, and one set <br />to our Denver office, addressed to Division of Minerals and Geology, Dan Mathews, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203. Adequacy responses and other correspondence should be <br />handled the same as initial submittals; one set to Denver and two sets to Dan in Grand Junction. At <br />the conclusion of the review process, once the Division's decision is final, please prepare and <br />submit one set of approved replacement pages, figures, maps, etc., to the Denver office, with a <br />copy of the cover letter to Dan in Grand Junction. In essence, you should follow the same <br />procedures with respect to submittal of revision materials to our Denver office that you should be <br />following for the BLM resource azea office. <br />• Please submit one set of all routine, periodic submittals, including annual, quarterly, and monthly <br />reports and certifications, to the Denver office, with a copy of Ule cover letter to Dan in Grand <br />Junction. <br />• For submittals that do not fit either of the above categories, please submit one copy to the Denver <br />office and one copy to Dan in Grand Junction, or call Dan for duecnon. <br />
