Cvorus Amax Corporation <br />Dear Mr. Gorham; <br />Per our previous discussions, a number of problems have been encountered in the <br />implementation of the new database being utilized by Cyprus for the storage and <br />reporting of hydrologic data. This has resulted in the delay of completion of the AHR's <br />for the above referenced permits, and has necessitated this request for extension for <br />submittal to May 31. As agreed, the raw data is being provided to the Division to <br />allow for the effort to update the CHIS to continue. Please note, however that this <br />data may contain some errors which would be corrected in the upcoming AHR <br />submittal. Also, the analysis of trends and statistical information will be forthcoming <br />in the AHR submittal at a later date. As previously noted, these analysis can not be <br />completed until the current database problems have been corrected by the consultants <br />currently working on the system. <br />Kent, we apologize for the delay in generating the reports, but as you know we have <br />encountered some significant programming issues with the new database. We greatly <br />appreciate your cooperation in this matter, and we will strive to complete these reports <br />as soon as possible.
