Chimney Rock will certainly be
operated within the guidelines of the approved Permit and
Colorado Coal Mining Company will be maintained in the same
manner. I have instructed Dave Smaldone to give this matter
his highest level of priority.
2 have been told that Division field Inspectors have been
able to report favorably toward the Chimney Rock Mine over
the past few months. I therefore request that a show-cause
order not be issued to Chimney Rock Coal or Perma Mining
Corporation. It is felt that compliance can and will be
maintained. Please call if further discussion is necessary.
Sincerely,
Cl~~ ~~., J i~1 S ~-~r
Charles S. McNeil
President
CSM/mm: 27
105 East Kiowa. Suite 200. P.O.
