Box 219 Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81602 (303) 9i5-7755 Denver Direct Line: 893-1608 Re: Hazeltine Pit NI, MLRD M77153 Dear Sirs: Earlier this year, Wright Water Engineers on behalf of the State Engineer's Office sent a letter to you and/or your engineer regarding additional information necessary to complete the review and approval of your submitted substitute water supply plan for the Hazeltine Pil k 1. Wright Water Engineers has nut yet received a response to that letter requesting additional information. It should be understood that neither submittal of your plan, nor the return of your well permit application, nor our request for additional infonttalion nor any inaction by the State, constitutes approval of this plan. We understand that the plan was submitted with data regarding depletions and replacements from July 1990 to July 1991. That infornation may be used for the 1992 irrigation season if no significant changes in exposed acres, depletions or water rights have occurred. However, an effort should be made to account for all depletions and replacements anticipated through that date. It is the State Engineer's position that the substitute water supply plans he reviewed and approved in a timely manner. This cannot be done if all of the pertinent data is not made available to us for the review process. It is for this reason this we are asking for a response to our original request for additional information within 30 days of the date on this letter.
