Lamm <br />Governor <br />DATE: riarcll 7, 1983 <br />TD: North Thompson Creek File/Ed Bischoff <br />FROM: Bob Liddle,~ <br />RE: Snowmass Coal Ubjectives for March <br />As a result of our February 23, 1983 meeting with Snowmass the following <br />objectives were agreed upon. <br />Snowmass would respond to many of our hydrology stipulations with <br />the goal of eliminatiny as malty stipulations as possible. The <br />Division agreed to review these responses as they come in. <br />2. Jim Pendleton was to review the UUE subsidence monitoring data and <br />try to eliminate this stipulation. <br />3. The Division was to take a written stance on the question of the <br />amount (if any) of mine inflows were tributary to the Thompson <br />Creek. This stance was to be forwarded to the SEU to assist them <br />in their detennination of what augmentation will be needed by <br />Snowmass. <br />4. The Division will meet with the SEO sometime middle March to agree <br />on a course of action. ND date has been set but this should take <br />place prior to the Snowmass meeting. <br />5. MLRD and SEO will meet with Snowmass on t4arc11 23 at 1:00 to discuss <br />water rights and final findings document wording. <br />6. USM will be sent our proposed draft on P1arch 25, 1983 for their <br />comments. <br />7. Uur goal is to incorporate OSM comments and publish our decision <br />April 1, 1983. <br />/ep <br />Uoc.
