I understand we
made several attempts to contact you according to our usual procedures but were not successful. Your work
with us to clarify the status of the bond is appreciated.
I also appreciate the work of our Minerals Program staff in assisting you in complying with the permit
application requirements and our Rules and Regulations. While sometimes azduous, these requirements are
designed to reflect both the ability and the responsibility of the permittee in regard to mining activity. Your
diligence in that process is appreciated.
To expedite completion of this application, I understand that the Minerals Program has waived any additional
fees as you expand your permit area from 3.0 acres to the 9.9 acres you thought you had originally requested.
With these collective efforts, I believe we aze on our way to a completed permitting process.
Thank you again for your diligence in this matter.
S' re ,
Ronald W.
