The modification addressed changes in the proposed mining operation by the
incorporation of a highwall miner into the mining plan. The modification also included an
increase in the LMU recoverable coal reserves, due in part to the addition of the highwall miner.
The Bureau of Land Management, Little Snake Field Office completed a review of this submittal
and approved the proposed R2P2 modification. The submittal, together with a copy of this letter,
will be inserted into the existing Seneca R2P2 as documentation of the approved modification.
If you have any questions, please contact Allan Young at (970) 826-5077.
Sincerely,
~~
~~_
John E.
