These items were discussed in
our January 29, 1984 meeting regarding the above.
In order for Peabody Coal Company to move the 650 Dragline
from the Seneca II Mine to the proposed Seneca II-W Mine
a technical revision must be requested to the Seneca II
Permit, Permit No. C-005-80. The following information
will be included in this revision.
- Map showing proposed route
- Disturbance by vegetation community
- Prediction of compaction by the dragline
- ROW information
- SCS information on topsoil depths in regards to
large cuts and fills
- Reclamation bonding information
- Contact SHPO, file search may be sufficient
- Submit general plans for Sage Creek and Grassy
Creek stream crossings
As you'll recall, in our bond release procedure discussions,
we prefer to have the bond released similiar to the exploration
bond release period (i.e., approximately 1 year). We
would like to finalize this procedure prior to submitting
the revision application. Our present estimated date
for submittal is mid-August, 1984.
