The following information covers the time period from October 08, 1997 <br />- October 19, 1997. <br />General Construction Summary and Schedule <br />Fill operations, including base course placement at all three benches of the Ventilation Facilities Site are <br />complete. Construction was begun on the main sediment ditch and chute and baffle structures. <br />Construction of the south and west embankments for sediment pond SG-1 are in progress. All three <br />transformers were installed at the substation. Final cut slope geometry has been completed on the lower <br />Sylvester Gulch road and road fill operations are in progress. Base preparation for MSE Wall A was <br />begun. Excavation work was begun on [he Main Entrance widening.
