Long <br />Division Director <br />Enclosed, please find the analysis of the coal material located at <br />the Hawk's Nest Mine. The Hawk's Nest Mine is located 22 miles <br />east of Hotchkiss, Colorado in Gunnison along a segment of old <br />State Highway 133. There appears to be roughly 10,000 cy of coal <br />material located in the stockpiled area. <br />The Division is currently looking into the possibility of Tri-State <br />Generation & Transmission using the material for their operation. <br />The Division is also considering your interest in the coal material <br />as part of the reclamation plan.
