Lonp <br />Divivon Dveanr <br />Re: Complaint Letter of August 22, 1997 (Water Line) -Mountain Coal Company - C-80-007 <br />Dear Mr. Mautz: <br />Enclosed please find a response package from Mountain Coal Company (MCC) which addresses <br />the complaint conveyed to the Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG), by your letter dated <br />August 22, 1997. The MCC response includes survey data which indicate that the cabin area has <br />not moved significantly since last year. The MCC submittal has been reviewed by Dr. Pendleton, <br />and he concludes that the data do not indicate subsidence caused the water line problems <br />described in your letter of August 22, 1997.
