Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Tmrtee <br />On June 23, 2004 the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board unanimously approved the Conversion application <br />submitted to the Division of Minerals and Geology on Mazch 23, 2004, addressing the following: <br />Conversion of the existing 9.94 acre 110c limited impact pem3it to an 89 acre 112c regulaz permit with 42 acres <br />of affected land and a concurrent reclamation obligation allowing 21 acres mnximum un-reclaimed disturbance. <br />The terms of the Conversion CN-0Ol approved by the Boazd aze hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-1998-052. All <br />other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-1998-052 remain in full force and effect. <br />The Division has estimated the reclamation costs for the converted permit at $72,000.00. The Division's estimating <br />worksheets were previously provided to you. Please submit a rider to your existing surety bond to increase it to <br />$72,000.00 or provide a replacement bond in the amount of $72,000.00. A blank financial warranty corporate surety <br />bond form is enclosed for your use if you decide to submit a replacement bond. The amount of bond for the Mascot <br />Placer operation must be brought up to $72,000.00 no later than August 27, 2004. Alternatively, Everist Materials, LLC <br />may provide to the Division analysis and estimates to justify a lesser bond amount. Tn either case, an appropriate amount <br />of bond must be in place no later than August 27, so if you choose to submit justification for an amount other than <br />$72,000.00, please do so by the end of July to provide sufficient time for review and discussion. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me at (303) 866-4063. <br />Sincerely, <br />Allen C.
