The revision was submitted by MINREC, inc.. All review and <br />comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />This proposed technical revision to the Permit C-81.025 Application Package reconciles atxeages of disturbed reclaimed and <br />disturbed un-reclaimed areas of the permit area, describes those features within the disturbed azeas that have been designated as <br />permanent features, describes postmining land use areas, and clarifies other minor items in the permit application package. <br />The Underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 10 miles Southwest of Carbondale, Colorado. The <br />perrtti[ area is furher described as follows: <br />T8S, R89W; Portions of Sections 21, 22, 27, 28, 33, 34 and 35 <br />T95, R84W; Portions of Sections 2, 3 and 4 <br />T7S, R88W; Portions of Sections 20, 29, 30 and 32 <br />The above-mentioned accts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle maps of Stony Ridge and Carbondale. <br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the time of <br />publication of this notice, the applicant is required to place a copy of Ibis application at the Garfield County Courthouse, 109 <br />8dt St Ste 200, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601. There is one on file at the Division office. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames- we request that comments be <br />submitted within fifteen (IS) days of this letter.
