Long <br />Division Director <br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 35, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, the Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on <br />April 28, 1993, a technical revision application fora permit to conduct coal <br />mining operations by Somerset Mining Company, P.O. Box 535, Somerset, <br />Colorado 81434, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews <br />and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated <br />thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations at the <br />Somerset Mine. The technical revision addresses a water treatment plan to <br />ensure compliance with the discharge permit requirements. <br />The Somerset Mine permit area is located in portions of the following <br />described lands: <br />Township 12 South, Range 90 West, 6th PM <br />Sec. 31: Lot 12, 13, 14 <br />Township 13 South.
