INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM <br />To: pnlRUluv~l.l. <br />FROM: JANI~IBINNS <br />SUBJECT: UIi:51sRAUO ~ INI's, C , SIR-131 <br />DATE: 7/2i/2006 <br />CC: llAN 1-IL;IiNANUE% <br />Blue Mountain Energy (BME) submitted a weed management plan, MR131, to incorporate into the Deserado mine <br />permit Review of the proposed plan, pages V-65 though V-G9, finds the plan very thorough and in compliance with <br />Rule 4.15(5). BME commits to providing "pesticide use proposals" to the BLM prior to application of herbicides on <br />federal lands managed by the BLM. BbIE also cotmiuts to remain consistent with the Colorado Noxious Weed Act. <br />T'he proposed plan is in compliance with the CDMG's regulations. I have no concerns with the proposal and commend <br />BME on their detailed weed management plan. <br />
