Long
Division Director
RE: Amendment Applications, Pikeview Quarry, Permit No. M-77-211
and Snyder Quarry, Permit No. M-77-210
Dear Mr Heifner:
Enclosed is a copy of correspondence the Division received from Mr.
David C. Conley.
As noted, Mr. Conley states he cannot submit his comments by the
July 18, 1994 comment period deadline and has asked for an
extension. This decision is strictly up to the operator. As far
as the Division is concerned the comment period expires 20 days
after the last publication date. Pursuant to CRS 34-32-114, the
only comments, concerns and/or objections the Division has to be
concerned with are those that are received during the 20 day
comment period.
If you do not object to extending the comment period please notify
this office. And be advised, any extension you approve of will
only apply to Mr. Conley and cannot go beyond the decision due date
(which is currently August 31, 1994).
If you have any questions give me a call.
Sincerely,
r..
r,
James Dillie
cc: Bob Oswald, DMG
M:\msWci(oc2.jd
