BOX 591 Michael B Long <br />Somerset, CO 81434 Div iswn Direclrn <br />RE: Minor Revision No. 152; West Elk Miae; Permit No. C-80-007 <br />Dear Ms. Welt; <br />The Division has reviewed the response provided by Envirocon, Inc. <br />on behalf of Mountain Coal Company (MCC) to the Division's adequacy <br />letter dated May 2, 1995 for the above referenced minor revision. <br />The four responses are adequate, with the following clarification. <br />In the case of Question No. 2, if movement of the buttress is <br />detected by the mirror monitoring system piezometers will be <br />installed to determine the cause of the movement. The more detailed <br />plan and profile should be submitted with the as-builts after final <br />survey has been completed as suggested in the response to Question <br />No. 4, by August 1, 1995.
