Following is a list of items that still need to be addressed (numbering of the
items will correspond with the July 14, 20001etter. If an item is not listed, it has been adequately
addressed).
/ 1. Rule 6.2 -General Requirements of Exhibits -the revised map you submitted does not
show the name of the applicant, nor does it identify the azea which corresponds with the
application (this map does not show the 68.7 acre permit area or the proposed affected land azea),
nor does it provide ari appropriate legend or map title. Which Exhibit does this map represent?
Who is the Operator of the permit? Where is the proposed affected land azea? Where is the
permit azea? Has the applicant decided to increase the permit azea to 79.39 acres? If so, pursuant
to Rule 1.6.6, the applicant will be required to re-publish a notice and mail new notices of the
change in the application. If new notices aze required, all applicable deadlines shall begin to run
anew (possible informal conference, etc., could be required if objections aze received). Also, the
configuration of the existing Fondis pit permit area does not agree with the configuration that
was approved in 1988. Can you explain why the difference?
What you need to do is construct a base map with all the required general requirements on it
(those aze listed in Rule 6.2). Then you add the required additional data for each required Exhibit.
J2. Rule 6.4.3 -for instance, the Pre-Mining map (Exhibit C) will need to show all the appropriate
information listed in Rule 6.4.3 in addition to the general requirements. This would include a) the
proposed phased azeas, b) all adjoining surface owners of record, c) the name and location of all
creeks, roads, buildings, oil and gas wells and lines, and power and communication lines on the
azea of affected land and within two hundred (200) feet of all boundaries of such azea (affected
land), d) [he existing topography of the area with contour lines of sufficient detail to portray the
direction and rate of slope of the affected land, e) the total azea to be involved in the operation,
including the azea to be mined and the azea of affected lands, f) the type of present vegetation
