BO% 46] GOLDEN, COLORADO 80404
May 28, 1997
Mr. Byron Walker
Division of Minerals and Geology
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, Colorado 80203
Re: Minor Revision # 29
Replacement Water Well
Keenesburg Mine Site
Dear Mr. Walker:
aJ1YlJlru v. nuuy~p,p y...:~~~!
In accordance with "Stipulation #28", as contained in Minor Revision #29, enclosed
please find a copy for the Division's file of the just received Well Permit (permit number
048289 F) for the domestic water well, drilled as a replacement for well permit number
24650 F. We will continue to refer to this replacement well as LFH #1 (or in some
documents Keenesburg #1) because of its proximity to the original well and because its
use and purpose will remain the same as the earlier well. We are also supplying you with
three (3) page 31/32 replacements (Section 2.03.9) which will update the Permit with the
correct well permit number.
A draft copy of the Well Completion Report for the new well is being reviewed at this
time, and baring unforeseen problems, a copy of that report should be made available to
you in a week or so. If I have forgotten anything else necessary to satisfy the MR, please
advise so that we can make sure it is covered.
Thanks again for your assistance.
Since e ,
Donald W.
