of Seneca II Mine permit renewal applications submitted in
1986 and 1991 are contained in the Table of Contents and on
Pages 7-173 and 7-290.

tlV typographical error and has been removed from the text on Page
7-173.
1. 3. Results of surface water flow monitoring at the Seneca II Mine
.U~~`L• are presented in Annual Hydrology Reports. A summary of flow
data collected at Seneca Mine surface water sites is contained
in Section VIII.B.3.a. of the permit, starting on Page 7-317.
4. Monitoring at surface water Site SW-S2-9 (SA0009) began in
March, 1986 and was discontinued in August, 1987 due to the
construction of Pond 008, located upstream of SW-S2-9. A
review of the period of record for Site SW-S2-9 shows that no-
flow conditions existed only during the months of August and
September, as predicted in the previously approved PHC (Page
7-205). PWCC can find no record of no-flow conditions
occurring during the months of June and July at SW-S2-9.
5. The ground water monitoring site locations and surface
elevations listed in Table 7-81 (Pages 7-291 through 7-294)
are correct. Location and elevation data previously listed
for Sites GW-S35-WC, GW-S37-WC, GW-S37-WCO, GW-538-TC, and GW-
S46-A were found to be in error, so these sites were
resurveyed.
6. Orthophosphate and PO4 are equivalent. However, our water
quality reports present phosphate data as "Phosphate as PO4",
so, for the sake of consistency, the text on Page 7-296 (Table
7-82) has been revised accordingly.
7. As with the ground water sites listed in Item 5 above, some of
the Seneca II surface water sites were found to have incorrect
~~/ elevations. These sites were resurveyed and the elevations
`~T' listed in Table 7-84 (Pages 7-300 through 7-303) are correct.
y~8. Table 7-84 has been revised to include information regarding
~14~ discontinued surface water monitoring Site SW-S2-14, which was
inadvertently omitted from the table.
~. Revised Exhibit 7-2A (Piezometric Contour Map) has been
renamed as Exhibit 7-2B in order to retain Exhibit 7-2A.
