Creek Mine, Permit No. C-82-055 <br />Dear Mr. Long: <br />Energy Fuels Mining Company (Energy Fuels) Bequests Phase I bond release of <br />approximately 1.0 acre of4he Raton Creep Mine Site. This acreage comprises sewera] areas at <br />the site that were specifically excluded from: Energy Fuel's Phase I bond release •approved <br />May 16, 1995. Specifically, we request release of the following areas: <br />- The former Mine office/parking lot area and adjacent north-facing slope. <br />- The- south-facing slope adjacent to the former lower catchment basin/ca'tch dam. <br />- The southern edge of the former substation..azea. <br />Energy Fuels completed backfilling and grading the referenced azeas consistent with the <br />approved reclamation p1an.This work is explained in, detail in the accompanying bond release <br />application. ~ <br />The accompanying bond release application i •formatted to effect compliance with. applicable <br />provisions of Rule 3.03.2. In addition, the accompanying proposed public', notice estates Energy <br />Fuel's intent.to seek bond release and is designed to 'meet the requirements for both <br />notification of land owners and government bodies and publication in the local newspaper. A <br />listing of those individuals and entities to receive notice is also attached. ', ~ <br />Based on the completion of reclamation,described above, Energy Fuels respectfully requests <br />that the DMG release $962 of the existing bond for the Raton Creek Mine Site.
