LOng <br />Division Director <br />This letter, as required by Rule 3.03.2(5)(a) of the Rules and Regulations, is to inform you that the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology has reissued a proposed decision to Approve Bond Release <br />Application No. 1 for the Bear Mine. This decision will be published in the Delta Colenrylndependent <br />as soon as possible. Publication of the notice initiates a thirty (30) day public comment period. If, <br />within thirty days, there are no requests for an adjudicatory hearing, the decision will become final. <br />This proposed decision was originally issued on December I5, 1997. The proposed decision was not <br />implemented because an objection was filed. The proposed decision is being reissued following <br />resolution of the objection. <br />The bond for the operation is a Treasury Note issued by your company (Bond No. 912827Y71), in the <br />amount of $160,000.00. The proposed release amount is $0.00. <br />Please be aware that this notification is not a request to initiate any action by Norwest Bank of <br />Minnesota concerning Bond No. 912827Y71, and is for your information only.
