We worked with
a couple of different options to see if we couldn't realistically
lower the reclamation bond. I have the following suggestions for
your consideration:
1. On the reclamation of benches we recommend the use of
three trucks (the optimal number in your model) for the placement
of growth material. We estimate this job cost to be $13,629.00.
2. On the reclamation of the quarry floor we recommend the
use of a Cat 623B scraper instead of a Cat D8N. Both pieces of
equipment cost the same hourly rate, but with the scraper we can
increase our adjusted unit production to 350 LCY/hr. This should
reduce our total job cost for this phase to $15,410.00
Take a look at these proposals and see what you think. I've
enclosed our notes for your review.
Thanks again for all your help and continued support.
Respectfully,
ob Stack
Manager, R.C.L.L.C.
