All reviews and comment periods as provided in <br />the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of <br />filing. <br />The applicant proposes to continue conducting underground coal mining <br />operations at the Deserado Mine located approximately ten miles east of the <br />town of Rangely. The permit area is described as follows: <br />Portions of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11 and 12, <br />Township 2 North, Range 101 West, and <br />Sections 21, 22, 23, and 26 through 36, <br />Township 3 North, Range 101 West of the 6th P.M. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map <br />entitled Rangely NE. <br />A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Town <br />Clerk's Office, Town Hall, in Rangely, Colorado. Written comments, objections <br />or requests for an informal conference on the application may be submitted to, <br />and additional information obtained from, the Division of Minerals and Geology, <br />Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (3037 866-3567.
