If the proposed sedimentation pond is to be a <br />permanent structure, a permit may be required from this office. The Dam Safety Section of this <br />office may need to review the design of the pond's dam to assure compliance with state standards. <br />I have referred the notice to them. For further information about permits and water rights which <br />could be necessary for the sedimentation pond please contact the Division Engineer in Steamboat <br />Springs.
