The Pittsburg & Midway Coal Co. is submitting a request for a Technical Revision of the
Edna Mine Permit Application PN C-80-001. This permit revision includes the following
items:
• Monitoring of wells 215W, 215L, 218W, 218L, M892S and M892L will be
discontinued in 2007.
Well 215 is located in the NW '/a of SW '/4, Section 31, T 5 N, R 85 W, Routt County,
Colorado. Well 218 is located in the NE '/4 of SW ''/4, Section 31, T 5 N, R 85 W, Routt
County, Colorado. Well 892 is located in the NW '/4 of NW '/4, Section 7, T 4 N, R 85 W,
Routt County, Colorado.
Enclosed, are three copies of the above referenced Edna Mine Permit Technical Revision.
The technical revision material has been formatted to enable direct substitution of the revised
pages into the permit document. The following materials are provided under this cover letter:
• Application Form for a Revision to a Coal Mining and Reclamation Report;
• Index of Changes form indicating where to insert permit changes;
• Revised Pages 4.6-146 & 4.6-147, January 2007; and
• Proposed Notice of Publication.
The proposed Notice of Publication will be published in the Steamboat Pilot and Today upon
receipt of approval from Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety that the
revision application is deemed complete. Additionally, copies of the permit revision will be
sent to the appropriate federal agencies at your request and upon your review.
