The proposed revision involves expansion of underground coal mining operations affecting
an additional 1 ~9 Ac. beyond the area involved in the permit renewal review done by this
office Februar o", 1992.
2. The Februar, 1992 review presented no objections at that time.
•-,
3. Apparently no additional water use is contemplated.
4. There is a decreed water right for the Somerset mine well at the site location, which is
apparently administered by its priority for industrial purposes.
5. There are no apparent adverse impacts to vested water rights by current nor proposed
activities.
Therefore, the Division of Water Resources has no objections to the proposed permit
revision.
Sincerely, , -
Chuck Roberts
Professional Engineer III
CR/jmg
6082L.cr
