Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
I have reviewed Colowyo's final responses to my comments (original items 109 through
113 from my memo dated September 12, 2006). Colowyo has adequately addressed my
comments as indicated below.
109. The Division will stipulate the requirement for submitting an analysis of points of
compliance and establishment of points of compliance. No further response
necessary.
110. Response accepted. Map 10 A has been revised to show actual location of
Gossard Well on south side of Wilson Creek. Monitoring Wel] MT-95-02 has
been included in the monitoring plan to represent the down-dip alluvial
groundwater condition below current and proposed mining activities that may
impact the Taylor Creek drainage. Data previously collected from MT-95-02 in
1995 prior to any disturbance including West Pit mining could also serve as the
undisturbed baseline information. Baseline data for monitoring wells included in
the plan has been provided in Table 2.04.7-29. Well A-6 will continue to serve as
the up gradient monitoring point for Good Spring Creek up gradient of the South
Taylor mining activities. Baseline data has previously been collected for the
Wilson Creek drainage and sampling of three wells along Wilson Creek will
resume prior to initiating any disturbance in the Lower Wislon mining area.
lll.through 113.
