The information includes the follow ing: ^ A revised Map 28 - Topsoil Handling-South. As we S~ discussed, the change to this map merely provides for R,OI Ota(r additional topsoil stockpile areas on the perimeter of Q o+i topsoil stripping areas in Sections 15 and 16. ~~~'~ ^ Revisions to Exhibit 19. In particular, we have provided responses to the Division's correspondence of January 29, 1992 regarding Excess Spoil. The Division's letter requested a response to four items. Colowyo's response is as follows: As we discussed previously, the maps referred to in the Reclamation Plan refer to Exhibit 19, I-b "West Pit Fill Design" and Exhibit 19, II-b "Section 16 Fill Design". The narrative has been modified to clear up any confusion. Mr. Pendleton's memo of January 28, 1992 states that there is a lack of evidence in PR-O1 to support Colowyo's contention that gravity segregation of spoil will result in the creation of an acceptable filter system. Such a statement is factually incorrect and ignores the success of the Streeter Fill subdrain system and discounts 14 years of observations of the spoil sorting dynamics occurring routinely in the Colowyo pit backfill area.
