Technical Revision Application -No. 64
(TR-64) for the Deserado Mine (Permit
No. C-1987-018), submitted by Blue
Mountain Energy, Inc. This revision to
- the permit allows for construction of a
- large ventilation shaft and two service
holes to the B-Seam workings. It also
includes extension of road RDH-3 to
the facility site and powerlines and
poles extending from an existlng ~ pow-
edine.
The Deserado Mine is an underground
coal mine located in Rio Blanco Coun-
ty, approximately 7 miles northeast of
Rangely, Colorado. Coal interest is
Federal and the' surface affected is
Federal and private land. The permit
area encompasses approximately
11,028.71 acres.
This proposed decision is based on a
finding that the proposed operation -will
comply with all requirements of the
Colorado' Surface Coal Mining Recla-
mation Act, Section 34-33-101, et.
soq., C.R.S., and the regulations p/6m-._
ulgated thereunder. -
