After consi~iera-
tion of this issue, however, Jefferson County would not commit to long
term maintenance of this roadway.
Accordingly, Cotter now proposes to reclaim this roadway (at the end of
the mine life) by utilizing heavy equipment to pull downslope soil
material onto the roadway to as close to the original mountain conrour
as possible. This roadway will then be revegetated by planting thE~
grass species listed on Table E-1 of our mining permit.
Please contact me if you should have any questions regarding this matter.
Sincerely,
<'~~..~
Timothy C Smith
Director of Environmental
Affairs
TCS/ rg
File 8186K8630-19-7
cc: Tyler/Little
HedlundjLandau
