<br />Enclosed are two copies of Trapper's Permit Revision No. 04 and permit renewal application for the
<br />upcoming five year permit term, 1998-2002. Also enclosed is a copy of a newspaper public notice for the
<br />NoAhwest Colorado Daily Press, a copy of our current liability insurance policy, and a revision application
<br />fomt'to our existing coal mining and reclamation permit. The current permit term for C-81-010 expires on
<br />December 31, 1997. This permit revision does not propose any changes to our current permit boundary. It
<br />does, however, propose to disturb an additional 1,025 acres within our approved permit area during the PRA
<br />permit tens.
<br />Enclosed with this letter is a six-page cross-reference index of all changes to text and maps proposed with
<br />this revision. Included with the cross-reference index is a brief description of each proposed change and, as
<br />appropriate, brief comments are added.
<br />During the 1998-2002 permit tens, mining, reclamation and haulroad construction activity will continue to
<br />occur in Ashmore, Derringer and Flintlock Pits and will be initiated in Galling Pit. In addition, reclamation
<br />activity will be completed in I-Iawken Pit (refer to M l0 series maps).
