Wade as Executive Vice President and <br />Allen C. Holmes as an officer of ARCO. With regard to Mr. Wade, the resolution <br />of January 26, 1998 (attached to my letter of April 22, 1998) reflects that he was <br />elected "President" of ARCO and, pursuant to the terms of his appointment, his <br />elevation to President terminated his previous duties and appointment as <br />Executive Vice President. In the case of Mr. Holmes, as provided in the <br />resolution by which he was appointed Executive Vice President, his appointment <br />ended when he retired and was replaced on May 4, 1998. <br />Once again, I thank you and Erica very much for all your assistance in reviewing <br />and updating the AVS record of ARCO's officers and directors.
