Cottony <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology is proposing to Approve with <br />conditions a revision application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by Seneca <br />Coal Company on April 1, 2005, for the Yoast Mine. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing <br />before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice by the Division <br />in the Steamboat Pilot. <br />The surface mine is located approximately 7 miles southwest of Hayden, Colorado. The permit area is further <br />described as follows: <br />T6N, R87 W, Portions of Sections 28, 29 and 32 <br />TSN, R87W, All of Section 17; Portions of Sections 5, 8, 16, 18, 19, 2Q, 29, 30 <br />Copies of the revision application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the Hayden Public Library.
