Lung <br />Division D~recior <br />Enclosed you will find the Division of Minerals and Geology's Proposed Decision Form for Minor Revision No. 224 at the West <br />Elk Mine. <br />Documentation must be submitted to the Division demonstrating that a copy of the approved revision application was sent to <br />the Office of Surface Mining and the Bureau of Land Management. The material should be sent within IS days of final <br />approval. <br />The reclamation cost estimate for Minot Revision No. 224 is $4,690.00: the cost estimate is enclosed. The estimate includes <br />the following assumptions bases: <br />I. DMG reviewed the existing summary sheet for the entire site, and found two errors from previous estimates. Task 78 <br />had been entered as $53,520.00 rather than $53,250.00. Task 43a had been entered as $702,157.00 rather than <br />$689,207.00. These figures were corrected, resulting in a decrease in liability. <br />2. The decision form for Minor Revision 226 had an incorrect bond liability estimate, in that it included our estimate For <br />TR 81 which has not yet been approved. The liability for MR-226 should have been $15,086.00 for a total liability <br />of $10,150,189.00. The new liability figure for MR-224 includes this correction. <br />3. DMG based the road reclamation cost estimate on a volume oC 5,520 bey, which we derived from the cross-sections <br />provided. <br />4.
