Follow-up to the informal conference between Dan H., Janet, Byron Walker <br />and Don MacDonald on May 28, 2004; Janet was going to look at Byron's reclamation cost estimate updated in January <br />2004 to remove backfill, regrade, topsoil and seeding costs for the permanent sediment ponds. Reading through Byron's <br />findings dated, March 31, 2004, the Division had not included costs for reclamation of the permanent ponds. We had also <br />discussed just including a cost for maintenance of the ponds and permanent ditches. <br />I removed the reclamation cost of the East ditch from task 054. (This reduced that task by $190.00) I propose to include a <br />pond cleaning cost of removal of 4" of sediment from the pond bottom (300' x 125' x 0.3'= 11250 cu.ft.= 416.7 cu.yd.) and <br />haul to the pit. Upon Dan H.'s suggestion, I will wait to hear back from Don MacD before I calculate this sediment removal <br />cost. <br />I called Don MacD on 7I1I04, to inquire which task he was referring to when he asked that we not include a cost of <br />reclamation of the permanent ponds. Don MacD. is out of the office until 7/9/04. I plan to be out of the office 7/5 through <br />7/15. <br />Upon receiving a reply from Coors Energy, I wilt calculate a permanent pond maintenance cost, and forward this <br />information to Byron. <br />I think that covers our discussion <br />Thanks <br />Janet <br />
