<br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 35, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised
<br />Statutes, the Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on
<br />April 25, 1994, a technical revision application for a permit to conduct coal
<br />mining operations by The Pittsburg & Midway Coal Mining Co., P.O. Box 176,
<br />Oak Creek, Colorado 80467, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing.
<br />All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations
<br />promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing.
<br />The applicant proposes to revise surface coal mining operations at the Edna
<br />Mine. The technical revision will eliminate check dams 22 and 23 from the
<br />West Ridge Hydrologic Reconstruction Plan.
<br />The-Edna-Mine is located approximately four miles northwest of Oak Creek,
<br />Colorado, in the following sections:
