NCIG agreed to submit a technical revision application to the DMG
to address the issues and concerns presented in the DMG's phase I
bond release findings document dated May 26, 1995.
The enclosed technical revision application is comprised of the
following information:
1. Revised list of figures (ix).
2. Revised pages 4-54 - 4-61. These pages were revised to
explain the reclamation work that was performed during 1994
and to commit to performing additional work during 1995. The
additional work contemplated by the revised pages includes:
a. Stabilization of the terrace outslopes (4-56);
b. Backfilling of the cut slope at the east end of the mine
(4-56);
c. Removal of culvert C3 (4-57); and
c. Disposal of waste rock (4-58).
3. New Figures 4.7-4 and 4.7-5. Figure 4.7-4 presents the Final
Contours of the mine site. It shows the location of the
proposed east cut slope fill and the location of the dozer
slot. Figure 4.7-5 presents sections A-A', B-B' and C-C'
taken from Figure 4.7-4.
4. This technical revision will delete Plates 4-1 and 4-2 from
the permit.
The work contemplated by the technical revision will be initiated
only under the conditions set forth in NCIG's letter to Susan
McCannon dated July 17, 1995.
