Box 161 <br />Silt, Colorado 81652 <br />RE: ?lotice for Permit Renewal, Eastside Coal Mine <br />Dear Mr. Self: <br />According to our records, the mining and reclamation permit for the Eastside <br />Coal Mine expires on January 13, 1990. As required by Rule 2.08.5(2)(a) of <br />the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, <br />application for renewal of a permit shall be filed with the Colorado Mined <br />Land Reclamation Division at least 180 days prior to the expiration of the <br />existing permit. The rule requires that the operator shall be notified by the <br />Division of the need to renew such permit at least 90 days prior to the final <br />date for filing of the permit renewal. <br />Eastside Coals Company, Inc. is hereby notified of the need to renew the <br />permit for the Eastside Coal Mine. Based on the expiration date of the <br />current permit, application should he received by the Division by <br />July 17, 1989. <br />For your convenience, I have enclosed copies of the application form for <br />permit renewal.
