Water samples will be taken at the mine sump (Sample point 4 - Map Exhibit 4)
and at the discharge at the Nu Mine adit. Samples will be taken quarterly as
weather conditions allow. S es will be analyzed for pH and conductivity.
If the sample results show a'pH-of less than 6 or more than 9, or if the
conductivity exceeds 1500 micro umhos/cm, another sample will be taken within
three days and analyzed for the following parameters.
pH (field)
Phosphate (PO as P}
Conductivity at 25°C (field)
Tem erature (field)
Sulfate SOq)
v
Total-SvspErtd~' c~-;-;~r_
Total Dissolved Solids
-Copper (Cu)
Sodium Adsorp*.ion Ratio
~3icarbonate (HC03)
`Calcuim (Ca+ )
Manganese (Mn)
`Chloride (CL-)
>lercury (Hg)
~~laynesium (Mg+2)
~''•olybdenum (~~to)
-nitrate-witrite
,~alenium (Se)
Zinc (Zn)
podium (Na+) ~ C
'Aluminum (Al)
-Arsenic (As)
.Cadmium (Cd)
`Iron (Fe)
.Lead (Pb)
In order to allow the Division to promptly determine if a potential for
environmental damage may exist, quarterly reports will be made to the
Division, to include analytical results from each sample taken during the
quarter. .any sample results which fall outside a pH of 6 to 9, or wnich
exceea 1500 micromohs/cm will oe reported immediately to the Division.
~i
S4.
J o!`I ~? ? i9~~

16 a
