Section 116, Paragraph <br />4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, tftat on August 2l, 1998, an application to revise coal mining operations at the Foidel <br />Creek Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Twentymile Coal Company. <br />All review and conunent periods as provided in the Ac[ and the Regulations initia[e from this date of filing. <br />The revision is for transferring the "Trudy's Comer" Storage Area form the Eckman Park permit (C-81-071) into the Foidel <br />Creek permit, transferring surplus topsoil from the Energy Mine No. 3 permi[ into the Foidel Creek permit, modifying the <br />processing waste pile construction methodology, ex[ending culvetts, installing corrals, and revising Maps 24 and 29. <br />The underground coal mining operation is on land loca[ed approximately 23 miles southwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. <br />The permit area is futther described as follows: <br />In pottions of Sections 7, 8, 9, T4W, R86W; Sections 32 and 33, T6N, R86W; Sections 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 34, 35 and 36 <br />in TSn, R87W; and all of TSN, R86W with the exception of Sections 34, 35, and 36. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Rattlesnake Butte <br />A copy of the [echnical revision application is available For public inspec[ion at the Roust County Courthouse, Box 773598, <br />Steamboat Springs, CO 80477, and at the Division office. For additional information or to provide written cotrtments, contact <br />the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567.
