Long <br />30575 CR 383 Division Dueaor <br />Buena Vista, CO 81211 <br />RE: Hard Rock Paving and Redi-Mix Inc., Buena Vista Pit, Permit No. M-77-196, Conversion <br />Application, PRE-HEARING CONFERENCE, FORMAL PUBLIC HEARING, <br />DIVISION RECOMMENDATION and RATIONALE <br />Dear Mr. Koehler: <br />The Division has completed its technical review of the Hard Rock Paving and Redi-Mix Ines., Buena <br />Vista Pit, 110-1 12 Conversion Application. The Division has found that the application meets the <br />requirements of [he Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials <br />C.R.S. 34-32.5-101 et sue. and the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board 's Construction Materials <br />Rules and Regulations. In accordance with Rule 1.4.5(6), the Division is informing you that our <br />recommendation is that the application be approved by the Board at a Formal Public Hearing on the <br />matter. <br />The Division has scheduled aPre-Hearing Conference regarding [he Buena Vista Pit conversion <br />application. The conference will be held in the Pinyon Room of the Buena Vista Community Center, <br />715 E. Main on December 6, 1999, starting at 1:30 p.m. William T. Cohan has been appointed by the <br />Board to be the Conference Officer. At the conference, Mr. Cohan will propose a Draft Pre-hearing <br />Order listing• <br />Party names, addresses and phone number <br />2. Issues to be discussed at the Formal Public Hearing <br />3. An outline of the agenda for the hearing, allowed times for presentations and cross examination <br />by parties. <br />4. Each party's witnesses <br />5. Each party's exhibits or documents to be used as evidence <br />
